What Managerial Skill I Would Like to Learn
What managerial skill I strongly need to have is how to pick up useful ideas from discussion in my opinion.
I have discussed the HR sumilation with my group members several times. At that time, we had so many different sort of ideas and opinions. We were supposed to pick up the most meaningful ones. Actually, we could discuss and make a decision quite smoothly, but my group leader led us and made the smooth discussion. Then, I thought that I should focus on what I need the most from group members who have creative and interesting thoughts. After that, I could make a good management. Therefore, I would like to develop this kind of skill.

I agree with Taka's opinion that we sometimes had different opinions during the discussion, but we discuss it with every team members instead of listening one's opinion and making the decisions based on it. This is how a team works, every team member work together to acheive the goals.

Besides from getting interesting advice and views from your teammate, another resource to learn more is by talking with the professor. Due to the fact that I am a team leader, I have many questions that need to ask Professor Piderit. She always helps me with my questions and helps me to think more outside of the box. Sometime she even pointed out places where I need to be careful and pay more attention. She even provides me advices about how to better interact with other people and adapt American culture.
