Firing Employees

When I was taking a class today, I got an impulse to write a blog entry about firing employees.

In that case, the company is going to install a new machine to make producing speed faster. If they get the machine, they would need less labors, and some employees might have to leave the company. Actually, it is such a cold decision though, this happeneds everywhere.

Sometimes, universities also need to fire employees for their economical issues. Universities is mostly earning from the parents and students, and if students decrease, universities need to save the cost and fire a couple of employees. However, how can I choose the employees I need to fire?

I could look up the results of them and how well they have been working. I should also talk to HR sections and exchange the opninions. We might not need to fire them for some reasons.

This is a little different situation with the case, but this kind of problems often happens. Therefore, I need to consider of it as serious as possible.
