Write for Sigma-Aldrich
I was approached by one of our product managers in St. Louis to reach out to the local research community. Sigma is looking to expand our product specific content to our product pages within the Sigma website. We are looking for qualified writers to help produce the content. Do you think this might be something department postdocs might be interested in? To clarify, this is a part-time project and would be done on researcher's spare time (not to interfere with research).
The products covered are mostly biochemicals but we are expanding to cover bioactive small molecules, antibodies and more from biology 2 as well. At this point, we are tailoring the product list to the content writer's area of expertise. When familiar with the subject matter, we expect that the writer can complete 2-3 products/hour. We pay anywhere from $10-12/product.
The goal is to have each writer do at least a total of 100 products but they can do as many as they want until we run out at a pace of 75-100 products/month (the pace is flexible).
Qualifications: Post doc or PhD student.
Please let me know if this is something you and your colleagues might be interested in.
Best,
