A local consulting form is looking for some IMMEDIATE help with a short-term project that involves literature searching. They are looking for advanced undergraduates that can help with this project.
Help is needed to characterize a large number of named organic reactions used for chemical synthesis in the fine, pharmaceutical, and some specialty chemicals markets. Specific goals include cataloging reaction characteristics such as the exothermicity and endothermicity of the reaction, whether it is conducted in deep temperature settings, whether it involves explosive reagents or end products, and so on. The chemists would be provided guidance by a consultant on our staff with a background in chemical engineering.
