First MGMT 250 entry of many
Welcome to my first blog entry for MGMT 250. Throughout the semester I will make periodical entries relating to managerial topics.
Although the MGMT 250 class has only been in session for a couple weeks, I'm already beginning to understand what I will be able to take away from the class. I've realized that the managerial position is a lot more than just hiring and firing. Business managers have a lot more responsibilities including improving efficiency, diversifying the workplace, and developing high office morale. I expect to learn the best way to do these things in the coming months.
One of the aspects of the class that is intriguing is the high level of class participation. The discussions and lectures are advanced by the students. Hopefully this will encourage me to share my ideas more often and help me practice expressing my thoughts.

I am happy to read about the managerial insights you have already learned in our first weeks of MGMT 250.
