Orientation training discussion

I found the Orientation training discussion to be inneffective. The class voting system made it inneffective. Even with the ranking system in place all the teams had to do was rank the people that they thought were not going to win higher so that the teams that presented good ideas would lose. Also teams started proposing rediculous ideas that most companies wouldn't have the budget for actually doing.

In regards to the orientaion discussion, there were about eight groups that presented. I took notes for my team on the content of all the other presentations so that we would be able to remember them when it came time to judge, but I do not think many other groups did this. After hearing eight five-minute presentations, how would everyone really be able to remember the content of each presentation? Also, it didn't make much sense that a group could be rated a 1 and an 8.
