First 2 days at case

well everyone, it's my first two days or so here at case, and what can I say, it's pretty cool. All that nervousness that exists just faded away.

Just a side note, this is my blog home for a while. I realized that I didn't want to use lasvegasgamer anymore, this is a new part of my life and however long it lasts should be on its own blog. Similarly, I want to get away from the nick lasvegasgamer. I haven't been a gamer for a few years and I no longer live in Las Vegas.

I began my stay here in Cleveland by being picked up by a nice senior who told me a lot about the campus (and saved me $50 or so). that was a really great thing about tony doing it. it worked out perfectly.

She dropped me off and I soon had my key and found my dorm room. I walked in and was a bit overwhelmed. It was going to take a lot to make this my home. ALSO (and this is a huge point) it was massively hot. Now, I'm used to heat Vegas style...nice dry heat, but here it's a cool temp but with HUGE HUMIDITY. I needed a fan badly and it was obvious. So, with a hot room, a huge bag to unpack and heat, I decided I was tired and went to bed after sloppily throwing on the sheets.

It wasn't a great sleep, but I woke up and went and had lunch at the local coffee shop. I ordered the chix salad and it sucked, I think the cranberries inside it went bad (Can cranberries go bad?) and when I came back I noticed that all my roommates stuff was in my room. Eventually his parents came back and they made his space up and we unbunked our beds.

Dinner was had, pizza in the lobby of our residence halls and I met a few guys. They needed help with their computers and we went over to their various dorms and I fixed it lol. Network issues. Eventually we headed over to play a game of soccer which became ultimate frisbee b/c the claim that someone would bring a soccer ball was a complete lie.

After said game, I came back to Taft and watch the Comedy Central roast of william shatner. Then headed upstairs and after some reading, headed to bed.

Hell, I'm still 24 hours behind, but I'm getting somewhat tired of writing this post. oh well. :-P, I'll post today later, for now I'm headed downstairs to see whats going on
